Harness the Light: Meditation Retreat
This retreat is designed to guide both newcomers and seasoned meditators through establishing or deepening a personal meditation practice. It aligns with the summer solstice’s themes of light, balance, joy, and renewal. Throughout the weekend, Dr. Cox will guide us through three foundational techniques of meditation: breath, body sensation, and loving-kindness, culminating in an extended session that integrates all three. Seasonal activities, chosen to echo the spirit of the solstice - such as acupressure, qi gong, and sunrise and sunset viewings, along with a communal seasonal meal - foster a unique blend of personal reflection and community bonding.
